A.J. DeAndrea is a highly decorated law enforcement leader and tactical expert with over 30 years of experience in SWAT, crisis response, and leadership training. A retired Deputy Chief of the Arvada Police Department, he was a SWAT Team Leader during critical events, including the Columbine High School shooting, the Platte Canyon hostage rescue, and multiple high-risk operations.

Recognized as a subject matter expert on active shooters by the U.S. Department of Education, DeAndrea has trained law enforcement agencies worldwide and consulted with top officials, including the U.S. Attorney General and Vice President Joe Biden. His six Medals for Valor and numerous leadership awards highlight his commitment to courage, strategy, and decisive action.

Now the CEO of Centurio Training and Consulting, DeAndrea equips leaders with battle-tested principles of decision-making under pressure, making his insights invaluable for anyone looking to lead with clarity, confidence, and purpose.
